Mid South 2021 : T.I.S.D.M.S.

The Incredibly Socially Distanced Mid South

WHAT: Mid South BCF Edition 108/110 routes, from the evil minds of Tom Keller & Robert Clark. 70/30 tarmac/gravel, but filled with fun and adventure. Tires? In ideal weather conditions we recommend a minimum of 32mm, but 35-40mm is a smoother and less pucker filled ride in the adventure sections.

  • Easy now: is 100+ miles too much to chew on this early in March, or are you just looking for great route as an intro to gravel? Check out the 51 mile option we have set up with roughly 10 miles of gravel as a quick rip from the shop > Danvers > and back! Gas station: Fast Stop at mile 35.5.

WHEN: March 12-14 as part of the Mid South socially distanced event.

Mile 29: 250n – 275n – Attack yo friends

Mile 32.5: Fast Stop in Danvers, IL

Mile 40: Bloomington Cycle’s Don’t Suck Hill – short, but not sweet

Crazy Cook Hill at mile 56-ish… some will fly up it, some will crawl, and some will walk… road conditions vary from smooth to waffled or even too loose to ride will be the deciding factor. The segment elevation is an avg. 12% grade for only .17 of a mile… no big deal right… right?

Mile 64: Casey’s in Deer Creek, IL

Mile 71: Zimmerman Descent -5.5% – Pucker a lil & hold yo line, coming in hot!
